Whether you love uptown all inclusive events or you prefer to stick to clubs in New Kingston, from as long as you are in driving distance Passa Passa is a must.  While it's in the heart of Tivoli Gardens (TG) a place known to be plagued by violence and crime, on Wednesday night on Spanish Town Road some will argue that it's the safest place to be, one order. 

It was once a street dance, like countless others on any given night, but the dancers and DJs passed through paying their respect while Swatch the local resident sound proved they could juggle and create a stage where no one wanted to leave.  Even in the middle of the week (Wednesday's is Passa Passa) even in at 7a.m. Passa Passa is full of vibes.  Passa Passa is now the hottest selling DVD and Swatch has known truly turned international with constand bookings abroad.  It's the stage where all the dance crews come and show off their latest dances and compete for attention, it's the place where the ladies jump on top of cars and whine and grind endlessly, it's the place where uptown and downtown meet and get jiggy side by side. 

I got their around 4 and people were just starting to roll in, after all this is early.  The video men were just setting up (big up Scrapy) while the dancers each took their respective corners.  The pictures speak for themselves so I won't go on and on, but trust me Passa Passa can't be missed, if you are ever in town make sure you go and "free up".
